This brandy was produced with organic apples from the Oeste or West Region of Portugal. Using a traditional distillation and re-distillation process in a copper still, the essence of the fruit is extracted, resulting in a brandy with a smooth fruity flavor reminiscent of its origin.
Production process
The production of organic apple brandy begins in early autumn, when the apples are harvested, selected, crushed, and left to ferment. During the fermentation process, the fruit's sugar converts into alcohol. After this process, the fermented mash undergoes distillation and re-distillation to extract the alcohol.
As a result, an alcoholic beverage with the flavor of the fruit that originated it - apple brandy - is obtained.
This is followed by an aging period of approximately 2 years, during which the flavor of the brandy develops and matures, becoming smoother over time. After this period, the brandy is then bottled and is ready to be consumed.

The ideal temperature depends on personal preferences, as temperature affects the perception of alcohol and the fruity aroma. A higher temperature enhances the alcohol content and the fruity aroma of the brandy, while a lower temperature diminishes the alcohol content but also reduces the fruity aroma.
It is important to note that low temperatures do not affect the alcohol content of the drink, only its perception. Therefore, it is advisable to consume chilled alcoholic beverages with greater caution and moderation.
Generally, we serve brandy at room temperature in winter and chilled in summer.

Do your products contain gluten?
We use wheat and rye flour to seal and clean our still, which is used for producing brandies. While the likelihood of cross-contamination with our other products is very low, we cannot guarantee with 100% certainty that there is no contamination. Therefore, our products may contain traces of gluten.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. We do not use any animal-derived products or additives.
